INSTRUCTOR 

Eric O. Olsen, Ph.D. is Senior Consultant and Lean Practitioner with Venture Outsource. He is also the former Worldwide Manufacturing Education Manager with Hewlett-Packard. Dr. Olsen received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from Ohio State University. His dissertation, Lean Manufacturing Management: The relationship between practice and firm-level financial performance, and experience helping companies apply lean methods, help create the foundation for this event as he leads delegates through their lean journey.

Dr. Olsen is also a professor at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, where he teaches undergraduate and MBA students course work in Operations Management with focus on Lean Manufacturing and course work in Industrial Planning and Control. .
