Some qualifying information/questions OEMs should look for/ask potential electronics design firms in the RFP / RFQ, site visit phases would include; whether or not each service is provided, the number of dedicated technical staff per category/criteria, the number of years of internal staff experiences, software tools utilized (including version #), explanations for which design data manager tools are used as well as any other similar types of toolsets required for a design skill (and years of experience with such software tools) and, number of workstation where applicable.
